a bit much?
ok, so it's last minute xmas gift time. It appears, (just like last year!) that most people will receive a card with the following enscription: "a small donation has been made in your name to the Lori education fund. She appreciates your kindness and wishes you & yours the best throughout this joyous season..." u get the point. last year i was even nice enough to include lotto scratchers! this year's "extra" item is still in debate...
However, there are a few choice people who i will adorn with something...and, hence the point of this post. car guy happens to seem quite interested in seeing me as much as possible, so he's on my good list for now. BUT, what to get, what to get! shoulda met him after the holidays! i'm so bad at this kinda thing...
so first off, i know he wants a new UCR sweatshirt...how lame. i can't stand some people & their school spirit. though it would have made an easy gift, but it's just not like me! i must i must i must be difficult!
and on the other hand, i know he loves snowboarding (why, u ask? i dunno...i've never tried). So i decide to go with a hundred dollar gift certificate to one of the nicer local mountains. It sounded like a lot at first, but this is barely enough for 2 people to go for 1 day! damn his expensive hobbies...
anyways, like i said, i am completely uneducated in the etiquette of gift-giving, so i may be all wrong. all i know is that my gift had better be kickass! a spoiler for my car would be nice...lol...
